Things to do this month

1. Lawn Cutting
Cutting your lawn should now be a regular occurrence, probably each fortnight

2. Lawn Feeding
Feed your lawn with a high nitrogen rich lawn feed, to give it the boost it needs after the winter period.

3. Sow Grass Seed
If your lawn has suffered over winter use grass seed to repair any damaged patches.

4. Ferns
Cut back ferns to encourage new growth

5. Cloches
Keep checking your new plants under your cloches to ensure no damage has occurred

6. Birds
Keep feeding wild birds and hedgehogs whilst they raise their young

7. Soft Fruit
Prune young Peach, Apricot and Cherry trees

8. Container Planting
Plant up your pots and containers with fruit and vegetables

9. Flower Beds
Continue weeding Beds and Boarders

10. Nesting Birds
Keep a careful watch for birds nesting in your hedges and large plants
